Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of the StatsForTheWin service (hereinafter "the Service"), accessible via lasentinelle.app, a real-time sports data analysis terminal.

2. Publisher

The Service is published by Paul Suissa, sole proprietor.

3. Service Description

StatsForTheWin is a sports data analysis tool. The Service provides statistical data, visualizations, and decision-support tools. The Service does not constitute financial advice or an incentive to gamble in any way.

4. Registration and Account

Access to the Service requires creating an account with a valid email address and password. The user is responsible for the confidentiality of their credentials and all activity on their account.

5. Subscriptions and Pricing

StatsForTheWin Live: €79/month, €213/quarter (-10%), €806/year (-15%)
StatsForTheWin Plus: €149/month, €402/quarter (-10%), €1,520/year (-15%)

Each subscription includes a 3-day free trial. No charges are made during the trial period. Prices are in euros (EUR), VAT not applicable (article 293 B of the French General Tax Code).

6. Payment

Payments are processed by PayPal. By subscribing, you authorize PayPal to automatically charge the subscription amount at each billing cycle. You can manage your payments from your PayPal account.

7. Free Trial

The 3-day free trial is limited to one use per person. At the end of the trial, the subscription is automatically activated unless previously cancelled.

8. Cancellation and Refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your "My Account" page or via PayPal.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. You retain access until that date.
No pro-rata refund is issued for the current period.
14-day right of withdrawal in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws, unless the Service has been fully used during this period with explicit agreement.

9. Multi-device

The Live subscription allows 1 simultaneous session. The Plus subscription allows up to 3 simultaneous sessions. Account sharing is prohibited.

10. Intellectual Property

The entire Service (software, design, algorithms, processed data) is the exclusive property of the publisher. Any reproduction, extraction, or reuse is prohibited.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is". The publisher does not guarantee the absence of interruptions or errors.
Displayed data comes from third-party sources. The publisher does not guarantee their real-time accuracy.
The publisher cannot be held responsible for decisions made based on information provided by the Service.
The publisher's liability is limited to the amount of the current monthly subscription.

12. Suspension and Termination

The publisher reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account in case of fraudulent use, account sharing, or violation of these terms, without notice or refund.

13. Changes to Terms

The publisher may modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified by email. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris.

2. Data Collected

We collect the following data:

Account data: name, email address, password (encrypted)
Subscription data: chosen plan, status, PayPal identifier
Usage data: trading journal (voluntary entry), custom alerts, display preferences
Technical data: IP address (server logs), browser type

3. Purpose of Processing

Managing your account and access to the Service
Processing payments via PayPal
Sending transactional emails (confirmation, reset, subscription alerts)
Improving the Service

4. Legal Basis

Contract performance: account management, payments, Service access
Legitimate interest: security, fraud prevention, Service improvement
Consent: promotional emails (if applicable)

5. Data Sharing

Your data is shared exclusively with:

PayPal: payment processing
Resend: transactional email delivery
Supabase: database hosting (EU servers)

We never sell your data to third parties.

6. Data Retention

Account data: retained as long as the account is active, then 3 years after deletion
Payment data: 5 years (accounting obligations)
Technical logs: 12 months maximum

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the following rights:

Access: obtain a copy of your data
Rectification: correct inaccurate data
Erasure: request deletion of your data
Portability: receive your data in a structured format
Objection: object to the processing of your data
Restriction: restrict processing in certain circumstances

8. Cookies

The Service uses a strictly necessary technical cookie (sentinel_session) to maintain your session. This cookie is HttpOnly and cannot be read by third-party scripts. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.

9. Security

Passwords are encrypted with bcrypt. Communications are protected by SSL/TLS. Sessions are limited in number and duration (30 days). Administrative access is restricted and protected.

10. Complaints

You may file a complaint with the CNIL (French Data Protection Authority): www.cnil.fr, or with the data protection authority of your country of residence.
